Title :
Abstract : Geritola frankdaveyi Libert, 1999 is among the least known Lycaenidae in West Africa, with only two male specimens collected in Warri, Nigeria. Breeding of Geritola larvae revealed that the species is actually more widespread, since it was recently recorded also from Western Nigeria, Liberia and Sierra Leone. This paper presents the new records, information about the breeding of the larvae and morphological descriptions of the previously unknown female, the final instar larva and the pupa.
