Abstract : The Afrotropical hesperiid genus Gamia is reviewed briefly, and a revised key is provided to better characterize the species than previously (Evans 1937). A new species, Gamia abri is described and characterized. New and more accurate figures are given for both the male and female genitalia of the members of Gamia.
