Abstract : The author reports on the occurrence of Ithome concolorella on Ascension Island. Although it is a relatively recent introduction, the species has spread quickly over all parts of the island, with highest abundances recorded in lower and mid altitudes. Larvae have not yet been found, but it is assumed that they feed on introduced plant species, such as Mexican Thorn, Prosopis juliflora and Horse Tamarind, Leucaena leucocephala.
