Abstract : The Cabera subalba group which is entirely Afrotropical in distribution, is reviewed and its systematic position briefly discussed. In addition to five species known previously, the first southern African representative of the group, Cabera nevillei from the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, is described. Thysanopyga subalba Warren, 1901 is provisionally transferred to Cabera.
